First level sections
This is a classic first level section of the main part of our poster; it is the main blocks of your poster. As you can see it, the sections:
- are bordered and shadowed to catch the eyes;
- have an heavy title;
- can contain subsections.
Section and subsections
Take a look at this subsection. It is only half the width of the parent section. This is one of the key feature of Vinyl, it's grid framework.
- Vinyl is so powerful;
- Look at Beamer or Impress if they have this feature.
Look how you can easily make references to different kind of things:
Generic objects
You can easily add figures or tables, which are auto numbered.
Col 1 | Col 2 | Col 3 | |
---|---|---|---|
Row 1 | Muted | 2 row spanned | Danger |
Row 2 | Normal | Normal |
Scientific objects
You can also add some scientific objects like equation or source code.
When \(a \ne 0\),
there are two solutions to
\(ax^2 + bx + c = 0\) and they are
$$x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}.$$
#!/usr/bin/env python3
print("What to say? \
It's so useful.")
